Shizuka, Suneo, and Takeshi then enter Nobita's room.
However, Nobita's first attempt leads him to guess that Doraemon was the culprit after all. Nobita then uses the gadget to get his hands on some evidence by collecting leaves and viewing the footage from other leaves. Nobita then goes back to his room where Doraemon is playing with his new gadget: a Leaf-gazing set that allows users to see things from the leaves on trees. However, their condition is that Nobita will share the punishment with Doraemon if he fails to do so. Nobita then offers to clear Doraemon's name which Gian and Suneo agree. Considering the good that Doraemon has done during his stay at this time, Nobita and Shizuka are unwilling to believe this claim. As Doraemon is the only one in the area who loves Dorayaki, he becomes the primary suspect.
